Dear Fifth Grade Parents,

I hope everyone had a lovely weekend and enjoyed some fun family time.  The weather was beautiful and definitely made the weekend that much better to celebrate.

Just a quick reminder, please be sure to check Plan Book each day. It is updated every day and things can and will be adjusted in terms of tests and quizzes to accommodate student progress and learning.  Thank you!

The Fifth Graders are still working on their President’s Report.  They have all completed their first drafts and some students will begin working on their 2nd or 3rd drafts this week.  There are several students who have finished their writing process and have turned in their final drafts.  Rather than have our Oral presentations all on one day, the class has decided to present as the reports are completed.  Once their final drafts have been completed, students will meet with me to decide which date will work for them to present.  Students may dress up as their president and share their president’s favorite food with the whole class, but dressing up or bringing in food is not required. The oral presentation however, is required.  Please let me know should  you have any questions or concerns with regards to the presentations.
